We are two sisters from Melbourne who embarked on a journey to create organic homemade products for our children, motivated by their challenges with eczema and respiratory issues, as well as our personal fertility struggles. As new mothers, we were unaware of the potential dangers present in many baby products available on store shelves, and the detrimental effects these harsh chemicals could have on our little ones. 

Six years ago, we delved deep into our children's healing process, beginning with the elimination of toxins from our homes, including cleaning and personal care products. The positive impact on our family's health was astounding, prompting us to share our experiences with anyone willing to listen. 

Realizing the importance of early awareness, we sought to impart our newfound knowledge to assist other mothers in similar situations. Over time, we received numerous requests from people seeking ready-to-use products for their own families, and so The Essential Co. was born.
